Walk in the authority Christ has given you…

Can I tell you what seriously aches my heart? The fact that the majority of churches in America do not teach spiritual warfare or even begin to delve into what the spiritual realm is, past the “cute” phrase “not today satan…”

There are so many people- many of them believers…walking around with various hang-ups, addictions and things that they are in bondage to…not knowing how to be set free from these things…and because of the shame they carry, these things remain hidden and heavy

So they accept it as their normal, all while putting a smile on their face, as they say all of the correct things for “churchianity” on a Sunday…as the serve in ministry, time and time again.

I’ve talked to too many people who experience all kinds of demonic attacks and bondage, and they feel so much shame in not knowing if what they are experiencing is normal or if they can be set free from it.

Stop with the new age, shallow gospel that is being preached, where it’s all about abundance and naming and claiming…and start teaching DEPTH. The depth that comes with the Gospel that teaches people how to spiritually WAR for their families…their children…their marriages…their personal addictions…

Teach truth! Teach holiness! Teach repentance! Teach identity in Christ! Teach freedom in Christ! Teach how to walk in that freedom of Christ! How do we expect parents to raise up warriors for the Kingdom, when they themselves, do not even know how to go to war in the Spirit?!?!

Spiritual warfare is real…you need to know about it. You need to know how to fight the enemy with the armor of God on. You need to know that this cute notion of “when I wake and my feet touch the floor, the devil flees and is angry” is a farrr cry from reality…he is not phased by that

The enemy runs when he knows that you know your authority in Christ. He runs when you call on the name of Jesus. He runs when you know how to break generational curses (through Christ) and send every evil word and curse spoken over you and your family-back to the pit of hell. He RUNS when you are walking in the anointing of the one true and living God.

Fellow Believer…don’t be satisfied with the smile that you put on your face all while feeling the weight of your private struggles and the heaviness of what you are in bondage too. Renew your mind in His Word, spend time seeking Him, ask Him to search your heart and show you if there are any open doors in your life…ask Him to help you to go to the root cause of your bondage, to be set free…He wants you to live in freedom, friend. Seek that freedom, go to war for it… live boldly in it, through the power of Jesus.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

Ephesians 6:11

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.

2 Corinthians 3-5

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
